Philadelphia woman charged with homicide after police find a man stabbed to death in her closet
Marianne Wright, 34, is charged in the death of Dorakoma Lim, 37.

A woman has been charged with homicide after police said they discovered a man’s body inside a closet in her East Germantown apartment last week.
Marianne Wright, 34, was also charged with abuse of a corpse and possessing an instrument of crime and was being held in jail without bail.
Officer Tanya Little, a police spokesperson, said officers were called Thursday evening to a third-floor apartment on the 600 block of East Chelten Avenue. There, she said, the officers found the body of Dorakoma Lim, 37. He had been stabbed multiple times in his torso, she said, and the wounds appeared fresh.
Wright was inside the apartment when officers arrived Thursday, Little said. Officers arrested her Friday, court records show.
Investigators believe that Lim and Wright were involved in “an on-again, off-again domestic relationship,” Little said, and that the stabbing followed an argument.
Lim lived in the Olney neighborhood, Little said.
Wright is being represented by the Defender Association of Philadelphia. Its spokesperson, George Jackson, declined to comment on the case Wednesday.
Attempts to reach Lim’s family Wednesday were unsuccessful.
